In April 2013, I presented this slide show at the Connecticut Librarian Association annual conference, talking about digital downloads.

In conjunction with that, I created this website to share ideas, help sheets, & PR related to digital downloads.

To complete my Master’s in Library Science, I created this website, which encapsulated much of the work I’d done towards the degree.

Katy, is this blog new? I love it!!!! I’m so glad you are writing about books. Seems like I will have to buy books now (uuurg) since there is not much inventory of English books in the local libraries. Glad I can turn to you for suggestions!

I started writing as a ‘local voice’ for a local online news site, the Branford Patch. I retain the rights to my ‘writes’ tho, so I figured I’d also maintain my own blog thing over here. Thanks for the thumbs-up!

You can also read free ebooks, if you’re in the mood for that sort of thing. The classics are generally available for download – just search ‘free ebooks’. Google has some, Project Gutenberg has some, Internet Archive (… these are just a few place for free online texts to read… not quite the same as a printed book, but maybe can help scratch some of English-book-itch. Plus, you won’t get yelled at for dog-earing pages of a digital copy!! :)
